QUEM SOMOS
Victória Álvares é PRODUTORA E documentarista pernambucana. Seu primeiro longa-metragem, "Bloqueio", em co-realização com Quentin Delaroche, teve estreia internacional no Sheffield Doc/Fest, e participou de vários festivais nacionais e internacionais antes de ser distribuído em salas no circuito comercial.
Anteriormente, Victória havia realizado “Pérola Negra” (52’, 2018), “Fronteira da discórdia” (26’, 2018), e “Raízes” (52’, 2017). Atualmente está finalizando o longa-metragem “TIJOLO POR TIJOLO”, co-produzindo a série “FRONTEIRAS” e desenvolvendo o longa “PULSO”. Formada em Jornalismo, Victória realizou mestrado no Instituto de Ciências Políticas de Paris (Sciences-Po Paris).
Além disso, trabalha como Continuísta - “Rio Doce” (CINELATINO TOULOUSE), “Novembro” (em finalização), e Pesquisadora - “Deus tem AIDS” (Sicilia Queer), “Eros” (em finalização), “Soldadinhos de Deus” (em produção).

Victoria Álvares is a producer and documentary filmmaker from Pernambuco. Her first feature film, "Block", co-directed with Quentin Delaroche, premiered at Sheffield Doc/Fest. It has participated in dozens of national and international festivals before being distributed in commercial theaters in Brazil.
Previously, Victoria made several documentaries, such as “Roots”, “Black Pearl” and “Pacaraima: border of discord”. Currently, she is finalizing the feature film "Brick by Brick," the series “Borders", and developing the feature film "Pulse”. Graduated in Journalism, she completed a master's degree at the Institute of Political Sciences in Paris (Sciences-Po Paris).
She also works as a Script - "Sweet River" (CINELATINO TOULOUSE), "November" (in finalization), and as a Film Researcher - "Gods has AIDS" (Queer Sicilia), "Eros" (in finalization), "Gods' little soldiers" (in production).
Quentin Delaroche dirigiu e produziu, junto com Victoria Alvares, “Bloqueio” (76’, 2018) que estreou na competição do festival de Brasília e internacionalmente no Sheffield DocFest. Dirigiu também “Camocim” (75’, 2017) que ganhou o prêmio Encuentros no festival de Miami, estreou no festival de Málaga, e entrou no circuito comercial com a Sessão Vitrine. O filme foi exibido no Canal Brasil e em várias plataformas digitais como a MUBI. Na França, Quentin ainda dirigiu “Marie, dompteuse de crabe” (53’, 2016) e “Nomad’s land” (52’, 2014).
Quentin fotografou e montou todos os filmes que dirigiu. Além disso, montou os filmes "Indianara" (Festival de Cannes), "Carro rei" (festival de Rotterdam), "Rio Doce" (Cinelatino, Toulouse), "O delírio é a redenção dos aflitos” (Festival de Cannes), "Reforma" (Festival de Brasília), "Deus tem AIDS" (Olhar de cinema), “Primo da Cruz” (Forumdoc), "Tempestade" (Tiradentes), e a série “O Rio dos imigrantes" (CineBrasil TV), entre outros.

Quentin Delaroche directed and produced, with Victoria Alvares, "Block" (76’, 2018) which premiered in competition at the Brasília Film Festival and internationally at the Sheffield Doc/Fest. He also directed and produced "Camocim" (75’, 2017) which premiered at the Málaga Festival, won the Encuentros Award at the Miami Festival, and had a commercial release with Sessão Vitrine. The movie was screened on Canal Brasil and various digital platforms, such as MUBI. In France, Quentin directed "Marie, the cancer tamer" (53’, 201) and "Nomad's land" (52’, 2014).
Quentin has photographed and edited every film he has directed. In addition, he edited the feature films "INDIANARA" (Cannes ACID), "KING CAR" (IFF Rotterdam), "SWEET RIVER" (Cinelatino), "GOD HAS AIDS" (Olhar de Cinema), "PRIMO DA CRUZ" (Forumdoc), the short films "DELUSION IS THE REDEMPTION TO THOSE IN DISTRESS" (Semaine de la critique, Cannes), "REnovation" (Brasilia) and the series "O RIO DOS IMIGRANTES" (CineBrasil TV).
